Knotice, aka Silent K, was born October 8th, 1997 in Ft Lauderdale, FLorida. Throughout his upbringing, Knotice has a close relationship spiritually with God and holds firmly to those beliefs. The son of divorced parents and 8 siblings, sisters 3 brothers. He moved a lot as a kid, attended 5 different elementary schools and graduated from Blanche Ely High school in 2016. Rapping since age 9 and a student of all music, his own style of music is derived, in large part, from the old school music dating back to the 1960s. His influences come from his brother, Chance the Rapper, Lil Boosie, T.i, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem and Michael Jackson. When asked the reason for rapping? “I never genuinely just start rapping. I always felt like it was a part of who I am. Since the beginning music has helped get me through many situations I have had to overcome. I feel like I owe it to music and the people to return the favor.” Member of 2kyndz since 2015 along-side long-term friend Tommie Bravo. It’s odd that Tommie Bravo considers himself a modest ” ___hole” straight outta Pompano Beach, Florida who raps with a “chip” on his shoulder. However, Mr. Bravo feels that they have something to prove and a style that you will enjoy and grow to love. Very boastful and always motivated, gruff and blunt about everything, he is full of character with colorful lyrics. He is also quite “the character” once he is more comfortable with his surroundings and people. The group has released its first official mixtape with Hittown Records and delivered exactly what they named “Fresh”. This tape has various sounds. The melodies take the listeners back in time. Witty lyrics and clever hooks with a lot of great subject matters, make you ask: “Are they really 18 and 19?” The future looks bright for this young group out of Broward County. “Fresh” is a must put on repeat.
